A New-found Knowledge

Photography is quite an art, I must say. It's an expression of yourself and another way to be creative. Photography appealed to me when close friends were also into it. I've seen their work, and at that point, I was very curious.
Learning photography is not that easy. You have to be passionate, determined, and most of all, you have to be patient. When I first started, I quickly asked friends how to do this and how to do that. They helped me thoroughly. I mostly learned through YouTube and from reading online. The Instruction Manual also helped, but there are still a vast amount to learn!
Photography is also an expensive hobby. Lenses are one of them. They vary from $60 or less to thousands of dollars that I could not even imagine buying. For now, I'm satisfied with what I've got. I also considered signing up for a photography class, but then again, the classes they offer are expensive.
When I bought my Canon EOS 7D, I thought "Wow! Look at this huge camera!" I was overwhelmed with the size and weight. It was something to get used to. The first time I saw my very first shots, I was wowed with the quality of the pictures because they were just unimaginably different from a regular camera. The quality was just beautiful!
Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes. So, I took that saying and put it to work. I've taken pictures totaling about 4000 for the past three months. I've learned so much within that time: ISO, framing, white balance just to name a few. There's so much to acquire, but I'm absorbing it all little by little. I can only learn so much!
